Richard Wood, the manager of Swindon Town Women, is a nominee for the February FA Women’s National League Manager of the Month award.
Wood’s team had an outstanding month, going undefeated in the month and resoundingly defeating both of their league matches against Selsey on the road and Portishead Town at home.
After defeating Selsey handily at the beginning of the month, Town advanced in the Wiltshire FA Women’s Cup and earned a point against Keynsham. They then concluded the month with another outstanding victory against Portishead, scoring 23 goals in three league games.
This indicates how strong Swindon Town Women’s defense was throughout the month of February, since they only gave up one goal throughout that period.
Town supporters may vote for Wood here to support the Women’s squad, as the league has appropriately acknowledged his team’s accomplishments for last month’s results.
The polls shut in less than a day, so please make sure you cast your ballot by tomorrow at 11 a.m.
