The Oregon women’s basketball team posted on social media on Wednesday to inform that three of their regular starters will be using the transfer portal.
After a challenging season that includes 14 straight losses to close up the season and a last-place finish in the Pac-12 league, sophomore forwards Kennedy Basham and Grace VanSlooten, along with sophomore guard Chance Gray, join the portal.
VanSlooten scored the most points for the Ducks, averaging 15 per game, while Gray came in second with 13.9 PPG and a team-high 92 assists. In 2023–2024, both participated in and started 31 games for Oregon; of those appearances, Basham made 24 starts.
For the Ducks, junior guard Priscilla Williams signed up last week. Coach Kelly Graves is navigating a difficult summer that may drastically alter his team’s composition. Elisa Mevius, a Siena guard, was added by Oregon to the transfer portal in March.
