The San Antonio Spurs have announced their 2024 preseason schedule, which consists of two away games and three home games.
- Monday, Oct. 7 vs. Oklahoma City Thunder at 7 PM CT
- Wednesday, Oct. 9 vs. Orlando Magic at 7 PM CT
- Saturday, Oct. 12 vs. Utah Jazz at 7 PM CT
- Tuesday, Oct. 15 at Miami Heat at 6:30 PM CT
- Thursday, Oct. 17 at Houston Rockets at 7 PM CT
There are still a number of exciting games to look forward to, even though the preseason can only be used as a rough guide—especially since the primary rotation and veterans probably won’t play much. A rivalry between Paolo Banchero and Victor Wembanyama, a rivalry between past first picks, the Thunder, and the despised Houston Rockets are just a few of the teams involved. (And who knows how the Jazz will appear, given that trade rumors involving Lauri Markkanen persist even though the Jazz are purportedly “uninterested” in doing so.)
Although the broadcast details are still to come, as all of them were televised the year before, we may presume that this year will be no different. (Many thanks, Wemby! For fans, it will be their first opportunity to witness rookie Stephon Castle in an actual NBA environment (as opposed to Summer League) and to see newcomers Chris Paul and Harrison Barnes in Silver and Black.
