JUST IN:New Zealand Warriors gives an update on four of its injured players ahead of the Saturday night game

The official status of four injured players has been released by the New Zealand Warriors ahead of their Saturday night matchup against the Melbourne Storm.

Shaun Johnson, the club’s standout halfback, will be there for the big match on Saturday. Coach Andrew Webster did, however, disclose that Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, the center, will probably be held out for a further week.

As he heals from a hamstring strain sustained during the team’s game against the Sydney Roosters, the former Dally M Medallist has been added to the extended squad.

After suffering ankle injuries, fellow center Ali Leiataua and utility Paul Roache are expected to return for Round 18, but youthful playmaker Luke Metcalf’s recovery period has not been specified.
