JUST IN:Montreal Canadiens reveal their preseason schedule for 2024–25

Four of the Canadiens’ six preseason games will take place at the Bell Centre. They have road games scheduled in Toronto and Ottawa as well.

Two back-to-back home games against the Philadelphia Flyers and the New Jersey Devils on September 23 and 24 will kick off the preseason. After that, on September 26 they will travel to Toronto, and on September 28 the Maple Leafs will return. The last preseason game is a home-and-home series against the Ottawa Senators, which takes place in Ottawa on October 5 and at the Bell Centre on October 1.

This will be the first chance to witness what should be some fierce training camp combat as well as the introduction of some significant new characters.

The NHL regular season schedule is expected to be made public around the time of the NHL Draft, and it appears that Montreal will play its opening game on October 11 of 2023–2024. On September 14 and 15, the Canadiens will host two games at the Bell Centre as part of their rookie camp.
