JUST IN:Former Hull City manager Liam Rosenior rejects Plymouth Argyle deal

Journalist Alan Nixon claims that former Hull City manager Liam Rosenior declined an offer from Plymouth Argyle.

Hull City fired the 39-year-old after the conclusion of the regular Championship season, despite his team narrowly losing out on playoff contention.

Many thought Rosenior did a wonderful job leading Hull to the top six last season, thus his choice to leave was criticized.

He is still considered a gifted young manager by many, and Plymouth tried to get him to take over as their next manager.

On the other hand, it has been reported that Rosenior turned down Hull’s offer for him to return to management right away.

Ian Foster was fired by Plymouth in April, and the team has struggled to make it through the Championship this year.

Although they were eager to hire a manager with Rosenior’s caliber, the former Hull manager was not amenable to the transfer.

In their search for a new management, Plymouth will now consider the other prospects on their list.
