JUST IN:Draymond Green shares his thoughts about hitting LeBron James In the 2016 NBA Finals

During an interview with Shaquille O’Neal on “The BIG Podcast,” Draymond Green shared some unvarnished facts on the 2016 NBA Finals. Green purposefully attempted to poke fun at the basketball great LeBron after a confrontation with him that resulted in a technical penalty with little over two minutes remaining in the game.

“You damn right, I tried to strike LeBron, which is why I got suspended for Game 5 of the Finals. You walk on top of me; I’m a mature *** guy,” uttered Green. “You avoid stepping on top of me. The basketball court is quite spacious, and I don’t take up much of it. You are not need to cross my shoulders. You are making fun of me for being a man by going over my shoulder. I was suspended as a result of attempting to get in touch. But it’s okay if you put a warm pack onto the court?”
The 2016 Finals’ Game 4 was an incredible spectacle. Things were becoming very intense as irritation and tiredness were starting to set in with the Warriors up 2-1 and on the cusp of claiming a 3-1 series lead. LeBron James and Draymond Green got into a heated argument in the closing minutes of the game, which led to technical fouls for both players. Green’s issue is that, while attempting to exact revenge for getting stepped on on national television, he missed and didn’t even make contact with LeBron.

But, the referees decided that he was nonetheless guilty of a technical infraction even though he did not make contact on the shove. Furthermore, because it was Green’s second technical of the match, he was eliminated right away and suspended for Game 5 for going over the allotted amount of technicals.
