In the NFL, the legendary Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are the second most popular cheer squad, according to a recent study that looked at the quantity of Instagram posts, TikTok posts, and Instagram followers.
According to Betway, the Cincinnati Ben-Gals’ strong TikTok presence (68,700 hashtag postings) helped them take the top rank.
Of all NFL dance teams, the Cowboys cheerleaders have the highest Instagram followers (663,000). That’s about 449,000 more than the Chiefs Cheerleaders, who have 214,000 followers, the team with the second-highest number.
It might be argued that DCC is the best NFL cheer squad, even if this survey gave TikTok a higher ranking than Instagram.
There is no denying DCC’s success. The star-studded outfit from “America’s Sweethearts” is so well-known throughout the world that it is displayed in the National Museum of American History at the Smithsonian.
The Cowboys Cheerleaders most recently traveled to four military bases in South Korea as part of a joint effort with the USO to cheer on service members.
The DCC held a youth cheer workshop and meet and greets with service people and their families in addition to their performances at the military sites. The Cowboys cheerleaders have partnered with the USO, the top nonprofit organization devoted to enhancing the welfare of those serving in the armed services and their families, for 85 years, starting this year.
The No. 3 Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders, No. 4 New Orleans Saintsations, and No. 5 Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders complete the study’s top five most popular NFL cheer squads.
