JUST IN : The Browns Set To Bring Back Pass-Rusher After…

Less than a week after his release, defensive end Sam Kamara has returned to the Cleveland Browns practice squad.

The Browns made a number of other announcements in addition to Kamara’s signing. Additionally, the team cut loose guard Joey Fisher and punter Matt Haack from the practice squad.

Kamara, a Stony Brook graduate, is in his second season in the NFL. He was first signed by the Chicago Bears in 2021 as an undrafted free agent, and he has played in ten games so far. He has played in just one game this season and has spent the majority of 2022 and 2023 on the Browns practice squad.

Kamara might be called up to the active roster for this week’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Browns might bench important starters like Myles Garrett and Za’Darius Smith since they have nothing to lose in the Week 18 matchup.

On Monday, January 1, Browns coach Kevin Stefanski stated, “We’re working through all those things.” Of course we’ll have a plan. We’ll have a plan going ahead because we want to finish well, but I’ll keep you guys updated as the week progresses.
