JUST IN : Reactions Trials As Ja’Marr Chase Refused to seek…

Cincinnati — In the big picture of the Bengals franchise destiny, Sunday’s game ultimately means little, as Ja’Marr Chase stated quietly. Before the Browns’ Week 1 loss to Cleveland this season, the Pro Bowl wide out made a statement about the team’s elf mascot.

He knows there’s not really redemption on the line for that comment this Sunday because the Browns “are going somewhere we ain’t going.”

“Ain’t much redemption; they’re going somewhere we ain’t going,” Chase said about the Browns playoff berth. “I could just beat them, but everybody ain’t playing. So it ain’t really bragging rights.”

Compared to the rest of his career, Chase hasn’t played very well versus Cleveland, averaging 5.8 catches, 58 yards per game, and one touchdown in four meetings.

If nothing else, he can raise those totals on Sunday and have a successful conclusion to his third NFL season.
