Mark Pope and Kentucky will have another in-state player on their roster for 2024–2025 after Harlan County small forward Trent Noah committed on Wednesday.
In a press release, Pope stated, “Trent Noah is one of the elite shooters in this class.” “He has a unique physicality and is a gritty, hard-nosed player. Trent, a product of eastern Kentucky, will infuse the team with a grit, toughness, and desire that embodies this state. Trent is a welcome addition to this accomplished bunch.”
Prior to being released from his national letter of intent on May 7, Noah had committed to and signed with Lamont Paris and South Carolina. He then took to social media to “pursue basketball opportunities closer to home.”
