The Denver Nuggets are allegedly interested in Toronto Raptors’ Bruce Brown, the NBA champion. “I was told that the Denver Nuggets would love to have Bruce Brown back…they just don’t have the picks to try to do that,” Chris Haynes said. It’s something to watch out for in the future.
He played for the Denver Nuggets during the 2022–2023 season. He helped the team win over the Miami Heat and secure the NBA title in 2023.
In the offseason, Brown inked a $45 million, two-year contract with the Indiana Pacers. He is expected to make $22 million this season. He also has a $23 million team option for the following season.
The New York Knicks and the Los Angeles Lakers are two more teams that are thought to be possible destinations for Brown. “The Raptors are receiving an abnormal amount of calls regarding (Brown),” Haynes also said through the SI.
“I don’t think they’ll have any trouble at all getting a first and a player back in return,” the source continued.
Throughout the season, Brown has averaged 12.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.1 steals, and 0.3 blocks. His field goal percentage is 32.1% from beyond the arc and 47.9% from the floor.
He was included in the Pascal Siakam trade and is currently with the Toronto Raptors. Previously, he was with the Indiana Pacers. With a 16–27 record, the Raptors occupy the 12th position in the Eastern Conference.
