JUST IN : CBS Analyst Declares Stafford ,’The Most Dangerous NFC QB ’ In Playoffs….

After leading the Los Angeles Rams to a 23-20 victory against the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI, Matthew Stafford was raising the Vince Lombardi trophy two seasons ago.

Stafford and the Rams are back in the mix this season as a wild-card team after missing the playoffs in 2022.

Some think Stafford’s championship experience can help Los Angeles pull off some upsets in the upcoming 2023 postseason, even if they are a wild-card club.

Adam Schein of CBS Sports stated on Sunday that he agrees with those who think the starting quarterback for the Rams is possibly the best quarterback to play in the NFC playoffs this year (via NFL on CBS on Twitter).

“If I had one quarterback that would scare me the most if I’m the opposition, or even if you want to frame it, who’s the best quarterback in the postseason, I’d roll with [Matthew] Stafford.”

It may sound like a weird statement coming from Schein at first.

However, Stafford is undoubtedly the best quarterback when compared to the other starting quarterbacks for the teams that will play in the NFC playoffs.

However, Stafford isn’t significantly superior than the other NFC quarterbacks who will be competing in the postseason.

But the key word to emphasize from Schein’s declaration Sunday is “dangerous.”

Even with Los Angeles being a wild-card team in the 2023 playoffs, Stafford under center gives them the confidence they need to go out and pull off some upsets during the next few weeks.

Are the Rams about to make their second trip to the Super Bowl in the last three seasons?

Chances are currently low, but with Stafford leading the way, Los Angeles definitely shouldn’t be taken lightly during the playoffs.
