Prior to their match against Stoke City tomorrow, Hull City manager Liam Rosenior has stated that they will “assess” Jean Michael Seri.
After the international break, Hull City will play the Potters in their return to Championship action.
Seri, 32, was not present for Ivory Coast’s last international matches against Uruguay and Benin.
HullLive reports that the Tigers plan to examine Mika and that Abdush Omur and Rosenior have stated that Mika won’t return until tomorrow (Thursday). The only two who didn’t workout today (Wednesday) were Abdush and him due of their late night performance the night before. We’ll evaluate them both for their travels. Apart than that, we’re OK to go without Liam Delap.
Being a key player for Hull in the middle of the park, Seri won’t allow them to take any chances. In his place, they also have Greg Docherty, Tyler Morton, and Regan Slater.
The midfielder helped Ivory Coast win the AFCON last year and has now earned 55 caps for his country. In the Team of the Tournament, he was also mentioned.
After Acun Ilicali took charge, Seri was one of the Tigers’ first big additions, joining them in 2022.
Since then, he has participated in 67 competitions, 30 of which have been this campaign.
Played for Paços de Ferreira and OGC Nice before moving to England in 2018.
He was enticed to play in the Premier League by Fulham, and he made 70 appearances for the London team while on loan at Galatasaray and Bordeaux.
Seri’s contract with Hull expires in one more year, and the team is hoping to get up to the top flight this season.
Rosenior’s team will play table-toppers Leeds United at Elland Road on Monday night after their match against Stoke.
With a game remaining, the Tigers are three points behind Norwich City in sixth place in the league standings.
