Former Oklahoma softball star Jordy Bahl and Nebraska baseball pitcher Trey Frahm have announced their wedding date: August 2, 2025. The couple, both Nebraska natives, met during their time at the University of Nebraska, where they have each made significant contributions to their respective teams. Their engagement was announced in August 2024 via social media, showcasing their down-to-earth style and mutual love for their roots.
Bahl’s journey to Nebraska was marked by her decision to transfer from Oklahoma, where she had won back-to-back national championships and earned multiple accolades, including two-time Big 12 Pitcher of the Year honors. Her move to Nebraska was motivated by a desire to give back to the state that raised her. However, her debut season with the Cornhuskers was cut short due to a knee injury sustained in the season opener. Despite this setback, Bahl’s passion for the game remained strong, and she is expected to be cleared to work at full speed in October 2025. She plans to graduate in May 2025 and pitch two more seasons at Nebraska.
Frahm, an Elkhorn native, transferred to Nebraska after starting his career at the College of Southern Nevada. He redshirted in 2023 and appeared in five games during the 2024 season, showcasing his versatility as a pitcher and infielder.
The couple’s wedding is expected to be a celebration of their shared journey, bringing together friends, teammates, and coaches from both programs. Their story is a testament to resilience, purpose, and finding love in the places that mean the most. As they prepare to say “I do” on August 2, 2025, Bahl and Frahm’s union will not only mark a personal milestone but also highlight the deep connections they’ve built within their athletic communities.
