The 28-year-old joins Town, having previously served in several roles locally within Women’s football, more recently

in coaching and managerial roles at Bath University and Warminster Town Ladies.

Upon joining the club, House said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be here. From the moment I first spoke to

Richard, it was evident that we shared a similar vision on how to propel Swindon Town Women forward to achieve

success both on and off the pitch.

“Richard spoke highly of the club and the support they provide to the women’s section. There are some brilliant

individuals at the club, and I am eager to learn from them.

I believe I can bring a wealth of knowledge to the squad, I enjoy getting involved in coaching and witnessing players

develop on and off the pitch. My role will be to support Richard, the staff, and players in any way possible.

I know the squad truly values the support of the fans, and I am excited to get down to Foundation Park and meet everyone. COYR.”

When discussing the new appointment, Swindon Town Women’s manager Richard Wood said: “I am

delighted to bring in Jonny House to support myself and our coaching team and players.

“Most importantly Jonny demonstrates the behaviour and values that align with the club and myself.

“He has a wealth of experience working within the Women’s game, both at developing young talent within Wiltshire

and managing senior players at Bath University and more recently at Warminster Town Ladies.

“Jonny is also an avid Swindon Town fan and knows what it means to be representing the club.

“He has fitted in very quickly with the group and I look forward to working with him to review, develop and improve

our coaching environment as we endeavour to continually improve in all areas and move forward with this exciting project.”

House takes the role on following Richard Wood’s promotion to the manager’s role after previous manager Mike

Cook moved on back in September to take on a familiar role in the men’s game with National League North side

Gloucester City.

When discussing this appointment, Head of Football, Jamie Russell said: “From sitting down with Jonny

during the interview process it was clear to see he has a real passion and enthusiasm for coaching and more

importantly Women’s football.

“Jonny has a wealth of knowledge about the women’s game and we look forward to him putting this into practice

with our women’s team.”
