Tadej Pogacar captures the interest of all bike enthusiasts, including Novak Djokovic, by winning almost everything there is to win. The Serbian, fresh off a mountain bike trip and an Olympic gold in singles from the Paris Games, confidently challenged the Slovenian to a lighthearted combat.
The tennis player Djokovic is pictured riding a mountain bike in an Instagram image. “Tadej Pogacar, I’m going to ride the Tour de France,” he ‘breaks away’ from the gathering. He directly challenges the winner of the Tour below the video. “Tour de France is the next stop. Tadej Pogacar, I’m coming for you,” it says.
The Slovenian couldn’t help but accept the challenge. He answered Djokovic in his story. “Yes, me too,” he said in response to the tennis great’s “Tour participation.” The latter then puts forth a strategy. “You enter the tennis court and give a serve back. I’ll then make an attempt to trail you for a hundred meters up a mountain.” Pogacar thinks it has promise. He says, “Deal,” with assurance. Though both are clearly very enthusiastic, it remains to be seen who will prevail in this challenge.
