‘We Didn’t Get the Green Light’: Broncos CEO Hints Deal for Dragons Star Is Now Off
In a surprising turn of events, the Brisbane Broncos’ pursuit of St. George Illawarra Dragons star player Jack Wighton seems to have hit a major roadblock. Broncos CEO Dave Donaghy revealed that the deal, which had been touted as a potential game-changer for the club, is now effectively off the table.
The Broncos had been heavily linked with Wighton, who had emerged as one of the NRL’s most dynamic and sought-after players in recent seasons.
