Denver Nugget star Nikola Jokic talks about sneakers, travel, and hotels in an interview

For years, center Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets has methodically and quietly controlled the NBA. With hardly breaking a sweat, the incredibly gifted big man has won two MVP trophies (a third should have been given out last season) and an NBA Finals MVP honor.

Jokic has stayed quiet for the bulk of his career, despite being a superstar in the league. The 29-year-old frequently conveys the impression that he would much prefer to be with his family, watching harness racing, or unwinding away from the spotlight at one of his paradisiacal vacation destinations.

Fortunately for supporters, the iconic basketball player from around the world has started to share more of himself with the public. This covers his travel preferences, manners in hotels, and pet peeves.

In collaboration with Hotels.com, Jokic has put together exclusive trip packages at his preferred hotels in Serbia and Maui. Booking these packages before June 30th will allow travelers to access benefits including NBA store credit, spa treatments, and resort credit. Jokic is also featured in Perfect 10, a digital multimedia series on Hotels.com, which is in its fourth iteration.

Sports Illustrated’s FanNation Kicks had a few key seconds for a lightning-fast Q&A with the enduring NBA All-Star as part of the thrilling reveal. Jokic is equally captivating, unflappable, and skilled at keeping his opponents off-balance off the court as he is off it.
