Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner gives his verdict on Daniel Munoz swapping shirts with Erling Haaland at halftime

Oliver Glasner, the manager of Crystal Palace, says he doesn’t mind if Daniel Munoz and Erling Haaland switch clothes at halftime.

A few Palace supporters weren’t happy. On Saturday, while the players were leaving Selhurst Park via the tunnel, Munoz approached Manchester City star Haaland for his shirt.

At that point, the score was 1-1, but Palace ultimately lost 4-2.

“I don’t care about it,” declared Glasner, who insisted that despite his Palace team going five games without a victory, he is seeing improvement.

Palace created issues for City in the first half, and Glasner said, “I could see many positive things in our game.” Despite being just five points above the relegation zone, Palace is anxiously watching their backs ahead of a match at Liverpool on Sunday.

“Outcomes are crucial. We are beginning to construct a basement of what we want to do, but there are still a lot of things we need to work on. I don’t want to discuss them when we lose 4-2. Living in a basement is not pleasant.

“At this point, we are beginning to construct the walls, let the light in, and improve our comfort level in the basement.

“I find it encouraging to watch the players grow and adjust in a variety of scenarios.”
