Chicago Bears set to sign Jim Harbaugh if sacked by Michigan

The sign-stealing issue surrounding the Michigan Wolverines team has clouded Jim Harbaugh’s season with controversy. This might make things difficult for him to get into Michigan. Furthermore, there are rumors that one NFL franchise is considering bringing Harbaugh back to the league.

Following the 2021 season, Harbaugh was infamously linked to several NFL coaching jobs. Even after Kevin O’Connell was hired, he was a finalist for the coaching position with the Minnesota Vikings.

Since then, Harbaugh has not wavered in his determination to stay at Michigan and not take up coaching in the NFL again. However, the issue surrounding Michigan’s football team might persuade him otherwise.

In the event that he does decide to alter his mind, the Chicago Bears might show interest in him. On The Herd with Colin Cowherd on Wednesday, Dianna Russini of The Athletic revealed that the Bears had “had conversations” about perhaps hiring Harbaugh in the event that they break ways with current head coach Matt Eberflus.

“Jim (Harbaugh) has always been involved in the conversation ever since he left the NFL.” However, within the past week or so, things have heated up. I’ve heard that the Chicago Bears are one team that has discussed this, depending on the choices they make on their current coaching staff. His reputation is undoubtedly well-respected in NFL league circles. As the NFL season draws to a finish, I have no doubt that things will only become worse.

Regarding the prospect of Harbaugh coaching the Bears once again in the NFL, fans had a lot to say.

Since Harbaugh has a track record of success both in college and in the NFL, NFL organizations will probably always be interested in him.

In the end, everything will depend on Harbaugh’s desire to play in the NFL again. And as the NFL season draws to a close, we will undoubtedly hear more about whether or not this is the case.
