Carlton Palmer, an EFL analyst and former England international midfielder, thinks that Fabio Carvalho’s potential return to Liverpool will rely on the new manager’s intentions for the team.
Palmer stated to FLW, “Fabio Carvalho has stated that Hull City has made him fall in love with football once more. The master of Liverpool midfield has had a thrilling tenure at Hull and has made an impression.
“Hull started the season strong, but sadly, they have fallen off recently and are currently six points off of the play-off spots.
“The player himself has said he’ll return to Liverpool at the end of the season and will want to see if he can improve his chances of getting in the first-team with Jürgen Klopp moving on, as we all know.”
Palmer also thinks that if Premier League loan players make an impression while on loan, it’s hard for Championship teams to hang onto them because their parent clubs are usually eager to get their players back and involved.
He stated, “Liam Rosenior may have an opportunity to have him on loan again next season if he is not participating in pre-season training with the first-team squad.
However, the midfielder claims he wishes to return to Liverpool and evaluate his prospects there.
“Taking a player on loan from a Premier League team and he performs well is never easy, but if he doesn’t play for the first team, Liam Rosenior should be in a strong position to bring him back because he’s enjoyed his time there.”
“If he’s available for loan again, there will undoubtedly be other interested parties who want to take him on loan.”
