BREAKING:Tadej Pogacar earns third win at Tour de France

At the Plateau de Beille in the French Pyrenees on Sunday, Tadej Pogacar maintained his lead in the yellow jersey during the Tour de France, extending his impressive run in the climbs.

The Slovenian finished one minute, eight seconds ahead of Jonas Vingegaard with six stages remaining, increasing his lead over the Dane to three minutes and nine seconds heading into Monday’s rest day. With roughly 5.4 kilometers remaining, Pogacar moved, matching Vingegaard’s pace from the preceding 6 kilometers before picking up even more speed to leave him comfortably ahead at the finish. Belgian Remco Evenepoel finished third in the stage, two minutes, 51 seconds behind, and five minutes, 19 seconds behind the lead overall. Currently sitting over eleven minutes behind (10:54) is Joao Almeida of Portugal. Two Spanish athletes, Mikel Landa (11:21) and Carlos Rodriguez (11:27), complete the top six.
