The most recent name to be connected to a move to Hull City is Adama Sidibeh, as the Championship team prepares for a busy few weeks during the transfer season.
The striker moved from seventh-tier non-league Warrington Rylands to St Johnstone on deadline day in January of this year, and he has since seen something of a stratospheric ascent. He did not waste any time leaving his imprint north of the border.
At the end of the league season, the 25-year-old forward scored five goals in eight Scottish Premiership games. This performance earned him a call-up to the Gambian national team, and he maintained his upward trajectory earlier this month when he scored on his debut in a 5-1 World Cup qualifier victory against Seychelles.
Numerous English clubs have been connected to the striker; Swansea City and City are reportedly among them. Willie McKay is the agent of the player. Reports from Perth state that no communication has been established with the McDiarmid Park organization.
Before Sidibe was given the opportunity to play in the Premiership, he played for AFC Blackpool, Cheadle Heath Nomads, Warrington, and St Johnstone. Former Leicester City manager Craig Levein saw Sidibe plying his trade in England’s non-league, and it is believed that this has made him loyal to his club for taking a chance and rescuing him from the depths of English football.
There is a clause in Sidebeh’s contract that protects the Scottish club if he leaves during the summer transfer window. Sidebeh is reportedly being linked to a £500,000 move away.
