His current deal with the Italian team expires at the end of the following campaign, therefore Aston Villa may be able to recruit him for a reduced price during this transfer window.

When necessary, Dumfries has no problem getting his foot through the ball and is an excellent ball-tackler. He is a competent ball crosser and has the ability to hit the ball hard from a distance.

The Dutch wide player can make some good openings for his teammates up top and is a great ball runner. Although his primary position is wide right, he can also cover for right backs when instructed to do so by his manager.

Dumfries would undoubtedly improve the caliber of Unai Emery’s Aston Villa team. He can contend for a regular starting position at Villa Park the next season. Dumfries is playing at his best right now, therefore the Villans should give him some thought during this summer’s transfer window. He is 28 years old.

Due to his extensive expertise at the highest level, Dumfries may be able to assist the West Midlands club in their upcoming multi-front challenge. Emery should therefore move quickly to sign the talented Dutchman.
