Breaking News:Tim Walter takes over as Hull’s city new manager

Tim Walter has been named the new head coach of Hull City, and the club is thrilled to announce this news.

After agreeing to a three-year contract, the 48-year-old German will formally take over at the MKM Stadium on July 1—provided he receives a visa.

A creative coach with a fast-paced, possession-focused style of play, Walter has overseen nearly 200 games in his own country, with a 50.25% win percentage and an average of almost two goals per contest.

Tim was always our first pick, according to Hull City Chairman Acun Ilıcalı. Although we intended to be thorough in our recruitment process and we received a lot of excellent applications, it was evident right away that Tim was the standout prospect.

“I am excited about how we might collaborate for the good of our club after our in-depth and fruitful planning discussions for this season.

“I am optimistic that Tim can maintain our upward trajectory and great improvement over the upcoming season because I trust in his concept. I’m wishing him the best of luck!

Over his 2.5 years in Hamburg, the former youth and reserve team coach for Bayern Munich led Die Rothosen to two consecutive third-place finishes in Bundesliga 2. Die Rothosen finished the season with 202 goals scored.

During his career, he gained recognition for his aggressive mentality, having led Stuttgart and Holstein Kiel in Germany’s second division. He also spent ten years with Karlsruher’s academy.

We’ll confirm Walter’s backroom crew composition when it happens.
