Breaking News:Hull City are set to sign Peterborough United defender Gergo Bodnar

According to a report from Nemzeti Sport, Hull City is set to sign defender Gergo Bodnar from Peterborough United this summer.
When the right-back’s contract expires at the end of this season, Hull City is expected to sign him.

Bodnar, 18, has advanced through the Posh academy ranks.

According to Nemzeti Sport, he is anticipated to go for a new challenge in the Championship with the Tigers.

Hull may view Bodnar as a player for the future as they try to strengthen their development squad.

The teenager’s contract expires at the end of June, despite the fact that he has played regularly for Peterborough at various minor levels in previous years.

In 2022, he signed a professional contract with the League One promotion contenders.

Hungarian-born Bodnar is also capable of playing in midfield or the center of defense when necessary.

In the campaign, the prospect went on loan to Kettering Town in order to gain some experience in the National League North, spending time away from London Road.

After that, in January, he joined Barwell to gain more senior playing time, and he just returned to his original club.

With players like Keane Lewis-Potter and Jarrod Bowen moving on to play in the Premier League, Hull has a track record of assisting players in advancing in their careers, which makes them a desirable club to join these days.

The Tigers are now away for a training camp in Turkey in order to be ready for the latter part of the season.

With a game remaining, they trail Norwich City in sixth position by three points, sitting in seventh place in the standings.

Next Friday, Liam Rosenior’s team hosts Stoke City, and on Easter Monday, they go to Elland Road to face Leeds United.
