Micah Parsons isn’t present for the Cowboys’ Organized Team Activities, which have opened.
According to Clarence Hill of the outstanding-Telegram, Parsons, the outstanding linebacker who is seeking a new contract, was not present for the start of OTAs.
Parsons and CeeDee Lamb are two important Cowboys who are looking for new deals and are not taking part in OTAs. Although Lamb was expected to forego volunteer work, the Cowboys had been holding out hope that Parsons would arrive. Although Parsons’ agent stated in April that he was not concerned about his contract, it is clear that Parsons would prefer a long-term contract from the Cowboys.
Since the Cowboys selected the 24-year-old Parsons with the 12th overall pick in 2021, he has become one of the league’s top defensive players. His rookie deal has two years left on it, and he will make slightly under $3 million this year and $21.3 million the following.
