Dawn Staley, head coach of the South Carolina Gamecocks women’s basketball team, has reportedly declined a substantial $7.5 million offer from Georgia and Notre Dame to remain with the Gamecocks. In January 2025, Staley signed a historic contract extension with the University of South Carolina, making her the highest-paid coach in women’s college basketball history.
