Days after it was initially revealed by LondonWorld that Michael Olise was getting close to making a comeback to action, the winger has returned to training at Crystal Palace.
Olise may start this weekend’s match against Nottingham Forest as a substitute after being forced off the field against Brighton in February. He was observed working out at Copers Cope Road, Beckenham, the club’s location.
Oliver Glasner, the new manager, has won one of his three games in charge, but the players’ output has improved dramatically. After spending a week in Spain for training, they will be playing for the first time in three weeks on Saturday against Forest.
However, there’s no denying that Olise, who contributed 11 assists the previous season, will be a huge asset to the team and his new management.
Six players are still sidelined for the Eagles due to serious injuries, including goalkeeper Sam Johnstone, who hurt his shoulder last week while playing for England, and midfielder Cheick Doucoure.
