Last weekend, Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark were teammates on the WNBA All-Star squad. Reese is planning a reunion with her opponent at the next Olympics.
Despite being left off of Team USA’s roster this summer, both players contributed well to the All-Star squad’s 117-109 victory over the Olympians.
Despite their well-known history of disagreements, Reese relished their Saturday teamwork with the Indiana Fever player and hopes that they may repeat the feat for Team USA in 2028.
It’s really awesome. Reese told ABC during an in-game interview that he played with Clark and that he knew she would throw the ball, so when she had it, he ran to find it.
She has been fun to play with, so far. We’re going to play with each other a lot in the future. I hope we can both be Olympians in four years.
