American sprint legend Michael Johnson praises Quincy Wilson after breaking the world under-18 400m record three times in less than two months

In less than two months, Quincy Wilson has broken the world under-18 400m record three times, leaving the four-time Olympic 400m champion in amazement of his incredible ability.

The world under-18 400m record was broken three times in less than two months by teenage Quincy Wilson, an accomplishment that American sprinting icon Michael Johnson praised.

Although Wilson has been in perfect shape this season, the four-time Olympic champion acknowledged that he had underestimated Wilson’s skills. Johnson concluded that Wilson is ready for greatness.

Remarking on budding stars typically entails making predictions about how their careers will unfold, which is not always an easy task, according to Johnson. But in light of Wilson’s performances at the Holloway Pro Classic, he had to remove his hat for the man.
