The Detroit Pistons’ season has not gone well with Monty Williams. Though it wasn’t the worst nightmare to befall them, the club went through one of the longest losing runs in NBA history. The defending champions are playing one of the weakest teams in league history, thus one would think that they will absolutely destroy the Nuggets. However, that was not the worst thing that could have happened when Nikola Jokic and Cade Cunningham’s team faced off.
Cunningham played 11 minutes for Monty Williams before he was injured. He was everywhere on the court for the Pistons, trying to salvage as much as possible for the squad. While performing floor general duties, he scored three points and dished out three assists. To round off the evening, he took three boards.
