BREAKING:Noah Lyles is set  to complete the Olympics double 200m Olympics crown to his collection

American Noah Lyles will be looking to add the 200-meter Olympic title to his resume, but Letsile Tebogo, Erriyon Knighton, and Kenny Bednarek will be fierce competitors.
On Thursday night, American Noah Lyles will try to make Olympic history by competing in the men’s 200-meter final.

Lyles has the opportunity to add the 200-meter gold to his dazzling collection after winning the 100-meter medal at the last Olympics in Paris.

Lyles is considered a specialist in the 200 meters, and he enters the competition having won the title three times.

The American hopes to enhance his bronze medal from the delayed 2020 Olympics in Tokyo to a gold one at the 2024 Games.

With a record of 19.53, Lyles leads the world rankings this year. However, he is up against fierce competition from fellow American Kenny Bednarek, who is second quickest with a speed of 19.59, and Letsile Tebogo, a competitor from Botswana.

While Bednarek has been unstoppable in the 200 meters this year, Tebogo already set the precedent in the semi-final by crushing Lyles to win his heat.

With a personal best of 19.77, American Erriyon Knighton is rated third in the world and is sure to give the others a run for their money.

Lyles will therefore need to perform at his peak to win a second gold medal in Paris or else run the risk of being upset by his competitors, making this race sure to be difficult.
