Toney had been in lethal form in the Middle East, plundering goals at a remarkable rate, but the lure of a high-profile return to English football proved decisive.

Known for his relentless physical presence, ruthless penalty-box efficiency, and ice-cold record from the penalty spot, the former Brentford talisman brings proven Premier League firepower. Toney’s arrival fills a vital piece in Leeds’ attacking puzzle as they look to assert their dominance and secure their long-term top-flight ambitions.

Farke Gets His Marquee Target

Leeds manager Daniel Farke has made no secret of his desire to add elite-level clinical depth to his frontline ahead of a grueling second half of the season.

> “Ivan Toney is a proven match-winner at the absolute highest level. To bring a striker of his caliber and pedigree to Elland Road speaks volumes about the direction this football club is heading.”

Toney is scheduled to fly into England early next month for his medical examinations and official unveiling before joining up with his new teammates at Thorp Arch ahead of his January registration.
